Povestea unui om care e acuzat pe nedrept de uciderea sotiei si amantului acesteia si condamnat la inchisoare pe viata. Tim Robbins face rolul ‘criminalului’ tacut, ganditor. In inchisoare gaseste un nou prieten, pe Morgan Freeman, un “lup batran” care pare ca stie tot dar mai are multe de invatat.
Pe langa meritul de a fi pe deplin educativ si plin de pilde, filmul reuseste sa fie si spectaculos. Inchisoarea ajunge sa fie prezentata ca un loc oarecare, cu oameni buni si rai, un loc cu care te obisnuiesti, locul care devine “acasa” pentru unii din ei.

To tell the truth, I am voiceless. The Shawshank Redemption is tremendous. I’am a young movie fan, actually, this movie come out the same yearI was born, and consequently I’am more accustomed films with marvelous special effects, edge-of-your-seat action, et cetera. This movie has zero of that, and nonetheless, it appeals so closely to me . The way Frank Darabont applies the tale of Red to drive on the tale, the beauty of the soundtrack utilized (note the harmonica used just before Red getting the letter at the end). The entire film, from start to closing, from actions to sound, is a beacon of desire, judgment, and repurchase. The cast is perfect, Morgan Freeman(Red) actually brings about a fresh feel to the story, and that’s precisely what the movie is, what a movie should be. Really recommended for every movie fan.
